Facial
Implants
Your
face, more than any other part of the body, is what defines you.
At its most fundamental level, your face is a composite of the structural
elements-chin, brow, cheeks and jaw. It is the relationship between
these structural elements that make up your unique look. When one
of these elements is too big, too small, or too prominent it tends
to throw the face out of balance. Facial contouring can change the
basic structure and improve the balance of the face.
Implants can be used to make the jaw wider, cheekbones higher,
or add projection to a small chin. There are many areas of the face
that implants can improve. Often these procedures can be done in
the office under a local anesthesia. Recovery time can also vary,
ranging from a few days to a few weeks depending on the procedure
performed. After surgery the face is seen with a more balanced look.
